Terms of engagement

Acceptance

By submitting an intake note, paying a deposit, or receiving a findings memo, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not engage our review desk.

Services

We provide independent document review and written findings regarding application packs you supply. We do not act as your accountant of record, licensed auditor for statutory filings, legal counsel, or lender intermediary unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Client responsibilities

You remain the applicant of record. You must supply accurate exhibits, disclose known prior rejection letters, and decide whether to file after receiving our memo. We are not responsible for decisions you make after delivery.

Intellectual property

Findings memos and annotated schedules we create remain our intellectual property licensed to you for your internal use and for sharing with advisers you appoint. You may not resell our memos as a product. Your source documents remain yours.

Fees and deposits

Fees are confirmed in writing before review begins. Deposits secure calendar time and are subject to the refund policy on /refund/.

Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for consequential losses, declined facilities, missed filing windows caused by late document delivery from your side, or lender decisions beyond our control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under Taiwan law.

Confidentiality

We treat application packs as confidential and restrict access to staff assigned to the engagement, except where disclosure is required by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Courts in Taiwan have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
